Case study - Challenge #2

My clients came to me as they previously approached their bank and heard it will be somewhat difficult to have a mortgage if they haven’t been in the UK for the past 3 years. They were first time buyers in the UK and had an offer accepted for £155,000. As they moved to the UK in February 2019 and previously lived in Malta were finding it extremely difficult in finding a lender and didn’t want to continue renting as they felt this was money going down the drain.

When my clients got in touch and advised me of their concerns I completed an in-depth consultation to understand their needs and priorities. I provided a copy of the clients' CV to the bank showing his track record in employment and earnings in the various positions held abroad. I was able to provide the bank information that my client was previously a homeowner and has never missed a payment in the past. Once the application was submitted the mortgage was agreed upon within 2 weeks of application.
